Tilson is seeking a Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for a Receptionist who is a prepared self-starter, driven, and has exceptional customer service skills.

What is a Receptionist?

The Receptionist ‘s responsibility is to appropriately manage a high volume of incoming calls via multi-line switchboard, while maintaining professionalism, and to greet visitors with a positive and optimistic approach. The Receptionist will also provide general administrative support for the office.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

Communication & Customer Service:

  • Professionally administers all incoming calls
  • Ensures phone calls are redirected accordingly
  • Greets guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Opens and closes visitor area (locking doors, closing blinds, turning off lights)
  • Appropriately serves as an ambassador of Tilson
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with both internal and external customers

Administrative:

  • Performs a variety of administrative responsibilities, including data entry and project work, to provide general administrative support for the office
  • Programs, updates and trains back-up reception on the phone system
  • Troubleshoots telephone and voice mail system and coordinates repairs through IT when required
  • Provides training for new and current employees on communication systems, including telephone and voice mail
  • Serve as a resource and support to office personnel
  • Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Maintains Main Entry, Board Room, and Kitchen Areas

Here’s What We’re Seeking:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year multi-line switchboard receptionist experience is required
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience required
